Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About White Privilege

Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About White Privilege

By Wayne Allyn Root
My name is Wayne Allyn Root.I’m a S.O.B.(son of a butcher).I understand this “white privilege” controversy like no one person on earth.
I’ve never had it.

I’ve never even had a whiff of it.That’s why I have no “white guilt.” I have nothing to be guilty about. But I’ve met plenty of privileged white kids. You know what you call them? Liberal Democrats.

More on that in a minute.
First, my background. My Jewish ancestors were far more likely to be slaves, than to have one.My ancestors were persecuted, abused, robbed, enslaved and murdered by government- just like black Americans.
My Jewish grandparents got to America in the early 1900’s- long after slavery. They settled in New York City, not the South. If they ever met the KKK, it was only because they were being persecuted by white extremists- just like black Americans.
My father fought in World War II and faced sure-death at Okinawa. Was that “white privilege?” He spent the rest of his life as a blue-collar butcher.

He woke every day at 3 AM in the dark and freezing cold, to drive to the “meat market” to buy the wholesale meat he’d sell each day at his butcher shop.

My father struggled his entire life as a working-class man and died with an estate of nothing (other than his home).
He worried every hour of every day how he’d pay his bills.

No one ever gave him anything in his life, for any reason- let alone because he was white. So, where was his “white privilege?”
Can liberals please explain where all my dad’s hidden privilege was? Because my dad’s story is the story of most middle-class white Americans. We are the “Silent Majority” that supports President Trump. We’ve never caught a whiff of “white privilege.”
My personal story is all about black and white.I attended a rough urban high school on the Bronx borderline that was 90% black.I was one of the few white kids out of 4000 students.I was tortured 24/7 for being “the minority.” I was beaten a hundred times.I was chased home from school, terrified, fearing for my life.

I had my lunch money stolen so often, I stopped going to lunch.I stopped going to the school bathroom. That’s where kids were terrorized and robbed.I was almost murdered by a thug with a machete. Is that what you call “white privilege?”
But eventually I learned to fight, knocked out a few bullies, became an athlete and won my classmates’ respect.I graduated Valedictorian and was accepted at my dream school, Columbia University.
That’s where I first learned about “white privilege.” As a matter of fact, almost every one of my classmates at Columbia University had it.My Columbia classmates were almost all lucky-sperm-club, spoiled-brat, filthy rich kids with wealthy, powerful fathers who opened every door for them, greased every wheel. They had everything handed to them on a silver platter, with no effort necessary.
Now that’s white privilege.
Oh, and where did all these little spoiled brats with “white privilege” wind up? My Ivy League classmates are today mostly powerful politicians, lawyers and the media.
So, “white privilege” is real.

But it is only enjoyed by 1% of 1% of 1% of the country. And trust me, virtually every one of them is a liberal Democrat.Every classmate I ever met at Columbia that was born rich was a liberal Democrat who hated Reagan, hated white people (even though they were all white), hated capitalism and hated America.
Today, they all hate President Trump.
So yes, there is “white privilege.” But it isn’t me.Don’t try to hang that guilt trip on me.

I have no white guilt. This son of a butcher has earned every ounce of my success. That applies to 99% of 63 million Trump voters. No one ever gave us anything.

We don’t owe anyone, anything.“White privilege” exists. But we’ve never experienced it.
So, it’s a free country.Everyone has free speech.March and protest to your heart’s content for “Black Lives Matter.” Just do it peacefully.

And understand the tiny percentage of Americans who actually have “white privilege” are spoiled-brat, Ivy League-educated, white liberals.
Whenever you meet a liberal lawyer, powerful Democrat politician, or member of the media- there’s your “white privilege.” They’re the ones you should be angry with. They’re the ones you should be protesting.
So much for “white privilege.”

Here’s the dirty lowdown on the Marxist left’s racist preoccupation with ‘whiteness’:
Leftists derive their hatred of whites from their larger hatred of Western Civilization, which emanates from the Anglosphere (which is historically majority-white).
This is why so many white leftists apologize for being white. And the Left can’t discredit Western values, so it racial prejudges Western Civ as a ‘white problem’.If Western Civ emanated from South America, the Left would hate Hispanics.
There’s a reason Jessie Jackson chanted, “Hey hey, ho ho, WESTERN CIV has got to go!” in 1987 at Stanford University – along with 500 other agitators. It’s public historical record.
And remember – the person who cares about race for any reason is the racist.

White privilege is a manifestation of ignorant white and black ultra lazy liberal indoctrination from within our state sponsored education system.I’ve had enough of this spew from the left most of whom have never worked a day in their life.

Where was white privilege when I was an orphan at age 6.Where was WP when my uncle took me in with his three kids he could barely feed.Where was WP when I sent myself to school and lived in the back of an airplane hangar either freezing or sweating depending on what season I was privileged to be enjoying.Where was white privilege when three black thugs shot my uncle Execution style in the back of the head while he begged for his life.

Where was white privilege for him from these animals that snuffed this WW2 combat veteran’s life out for $33.00.White privilege my Ass.Whoever made this crap up should be Lynched for corrupting a new generation of hate.
Lance TOLAND.Yes I said it all.

And I am privileged to have worked hard and now able to share the truth.Ronald July 7, 2020 at 7:07 pm

Beautiful to read.Excellent.You need to write speeches for DT.Really.

Well said and not too wordy.I do wish Trump was a little more pithy and less bombastic. It would do wonders for his campaign, in mho.bob July 7, 2020 at 4:03 pm
there is no such thing as “white privilege”.there is privilege because of wealth.oh yeah, affirmative action is privilege.certain people who have the right skin color are given favors because of the government.

a person with the right skin color who can’t meet the same standards as everyone else is allowed to go to a college that they would never be able to get near just because they can play ball.they are allowed to break rules and get away with it because they cry racism.they are given trillions of dollars that they didn’t earn.

then when they fail it’s someone else’s fault.that is privilege.Chris July 7, 2020 at 2:23 pm
“I am ten times at risk at being abused by a cop cause I’m black, even if I don’t resist.I am given a harsher sentence for committing the same crime As a white person, cause I’m black.

Black communities receives less funding than white communities.”
Terry, you’re making it up.Where are your statistics coming from, the source? You can’t write this stuff down without proof. And you wonder why white people don’t get it? Ten times at risk? Compared to who, hispanics, green people? Given a harsher sentence? Do you have proof of that, or is your proof simply saying, “you have a lot to learn.” Black communities receive less funding? What black communities, I thought we were desegregated?
One more thing. If you have car insurance, you have nothing to worry about. Also, how many people leave the house thinking they are going to engage in some minor traffic violation? Don’t black people know how to drive correctly? Again, get that insurance and get a real license plate.Erastmus Hardemon July 7, 2020 at 2:23 pm
I have never been given a thing and wouldn’t take a thing that wasn’t mine.I have worked hard, have little, and still have more bills than I would like.

I consider myself fortunate to live in such a free country.I have been discriminated against my whole life in the name of righting a wrong committed by people I never knew and to people that are long dead.I am told by elitist rich liberals that I should be ashamed for crimes committed by other people.I continue to give to programs that help the underprivileged because that benefits all of us.

I refuse to hate anyone based on the difficulties I have overcome in life.

I pray those with a hardened heart can find a way to let the hate go.I will cling to my God and keep on keeping on.Joe Krill July 7, 2020 at 1:47 pm
A very simple solution to the problem of anybody having privilege.“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets”
Christ said it 2 thousand years ago and it still hold today.

Can you call someone prejudice without being prejudice yourself ? B.Respectful July 7, 2020 at 1:22 pm
Every single case of police overreaction since, and including Rodney King, began with someone being disrespectful (and often physically violent) to the police.I don’t fear for my life when stopped by a cop, because I treat the officer with respect.yougottaloveme July 7, 2020 at 1:19 pm
Isn’t White Privilege, to take the converse path, as much a case of institutionalized Black Insufficiency, as of positive advantage White?
What has society been dealing with? Blacks get technical degrees at the ridiculous per capita rate of 5% of Whites.

Before someone thinks that that’s not too far off of the Black population makeup of 15%, the “per capita” rate means that 5% of the 15% achieve technical degrees, implying that out of 100 whites to earn that kind of degree, only 3/4 of a person does who is Black. That’s of 15 years ago.Does anybody have facts to show it to be higher now?
Common sense instructs us that a group whose average IQ is 85 cannot compete effectively in a techno-centric society where the predominant group has an average IQ of 100.IQ is not only genetic on surface, it is environmentally conditioned.

That is to say, That is to say, through effort, basic intelligence -“g”– can be changed to the higher. And it is also true that genes can be altered by way of environment, so that an increase in IQ can be passed on to offspring, thus bringing that dismal 85 up to a much better level over time.

How much time? I don’t know.I do know that the reward is worth the effort.Paolo July 7, 2020 at 1:14 pm
It is not a privilege working hard to make a good living, then to be forced to pay high taxes to support corrupt government or to feed and house anyone, of any race, who believes themselves entitled and is too lazy to work.July 7, 2020 at 1:08 pm
All you self-hating white people living in your gated communities or white suburbs: You actually ever go beyond self-righteous statements about “privilege” and “racism? Ever actually venture into the inner city?” Paolo July 7, 2020 at 1:02 pm
It is no privilege to pay high taxes to feed corrupt government and parasitic vermin who are too stupid and lazy to get a job! SAnon July 7, 2020 at 12:50 pm
I have no white privilege. My parents split up before was born and were divorced probably about when I was four.

My father was born in a coal miner family and mpy mother said she though he was probably abused when he was a child. He was a criminal, probably a thief but I do not know for sure that is just my guess. He served 2 10 year prison sentences. He served in WWll.

He was in prison in France for killing a man over a woman and got let out to go fight in the Battle of the Bulge.

He is buried in a National Cemetery and honorably discharged because his sister did the work to make that happen.I had 2 stepfathers, neither of which lasted very long.My mother married men she thought she could help.I don’t have a degree. The first ones family didn’t think I was good enough to spend time with my sister. My mother made me quit college so I don’t have a degree because I went to 8 different grammar schools and was always the new girl and had no friends.

In college I had friends and fun.I have worked all my life.People did not look on divorcee’s fondly in the 40’s or 50’s so life can be tough for everybody. The only thing a person can really change is their attitude and that changes everything.

My father was shot and killed by a policeman for behaving suspiciously right after he got out of his second prison term.He came and looked for me but didn’t say anything before that happened when I was 20.I don’t blame the policeman. My mother said he had always been afraid of police.I am white, he was white.I spent about 15 minutes with my father.

Tom July 7, 2020 at 12:48 pm
My great grandfather several generations back, was a white bond slave in England. He hid in a ship bound for America, to escape slavery.

He advanced to become a poor white trash share cropper in America. So was his son after him.

Much of my early life was without any indoor plumbing. The only thing this White Privilege BS message is doing. Is making me develop a much greater respect for the Asian and Hispanic community.People who work hard to get out of their predicament.

Its tough–but can be done.I owe no one an apology for my race. Now where do I get in line for that free reparations money ?? LOL.PS– You guys knew liberals can’t govern–so they beat their race tom-tom drums every election. Its all they got.Buddy July 7, 2020 at 12:37 pm
I keep seeing the argument that “white privilege” means not being afraid of getting pulled over for being black.
Newsflash: That’s not the definition of “white privilege” for Democrat and BLM supporter.

Look at the list of BLM demands, for example. It goes much further than that.

That might be your completely definition (although highly unlikely), but it doesn’t mean everyone else feels the same way. It’s not just about getting pulled over for a lot of people.
Black people are not killed at higher rates by cops than whites. It’s a myth.

There are more black people killed, but they also are involved in a lot more crime, so there are more interactions.
There are instances where being black might hold someone down.

I can see that. But there are also instances where being black beings someone up.Look at Colin Kaepernick, for example.Even though he is half white like President Obama, and was raised by white parents, he identifies as black.

Why? Because he gets more privilege that way! He gets paid millions by Nike for sitting on his butt.He would not be getting that if he identified as white.

I am a black male 75 years old I was a police officer for 25 years.I’ve read the above responses and not one oF The white people making statements understand the definition of white privilege. It really irritates me To see how blind and almond form people can be.Learn what whitePrivilege means then come back and let’s have an intelligent conversation.July 7, 2020 at 12:21 pm
BET Television, United Negro College Fund, Affirmative Action, Black History Month, etc… Don’t lecture me about privilege, sir.July 7, 2020 at 12:26 pm
Well then why not take the time to explain it ? yougottaloveme July 7, 2020 at 12:28 pm
Jim please, to the best of your ability, explain for us Whites what White Privilege actually is.

Cognitive Dissonance July 7, 2020 at 12:29 pm
So which privileged white politician are you going to vote for, or will you vote for Kanye West, since you’re such a principled man, Jim G? July 7, 2020 at 1:15 pm
So explain it.I was born and raised in Houston’s inner loop, the wards, by my unskilled labor-class mother. My father was a career criminal and busy serving time in a federal pen.I was in the same boat as the vast majority of blacks I was constantly surrounded by and I too was robbed, beaten, cut, and left for dead… by blacks.I got rousted and ass kicked by the cops several times just coming home from school because I kept looking over my shoulder.White privilege I guess.
So if you want an intelligent conversation where I actually know what the hell you’re talking about, explain yourself instead of that pathetic cop-out.It’s not my responsibility to coddle you and your delusions.

I walked out of the ghetto and made a life all by my lonesome.
BTW, don’t try to impress me with your age.I’m 1 year your junior. We both know the phrase “white privilege” was invented some time in the 1990s, no doubt by some white liberal jackass at an Ivy League school.
Please cut the crap and quit falling for the BS.Blacks are being used to force an agenda and when it goes south, they’ll be left holding the bag and they’ll be the one’s who pay the price.Quit being a tool, Jim.

You are a paid shill Jim G.July 7, 2020 at 4:02 pm
I don’t believe you.July 6, 2020 at 9:22 pm
A racist is a person who cares about race.
A racist group is a group that cares about race.
As a group, the Democrat Party cares about race.
American patriots do not.Rosko July 6, 2020 at 7:40 pm
BLM is racist hate group that spews bigotry and hate at every turn.

All these protests are misguided, what about all black thugs killing black kids in Chicago? Whitey ain’t pulling those triggers.! henry rockwood July 6, 2020 at 6:41 pm
Don’t talk to me about “white privilege”.

If I have any privilege it is because I studied hard, worked hard, and made a few good investments.Anyone of any color can do the same.If you are lazy and think I owe you something just because you exist you will be waiting a long time before I give you anything.

I once worked for a company that hit upon hard times because of some mistakes made by those on top.To reduce expenses I and many others were laid off.No black employees were let go because the”powers that be” were afraid of being accused of racism.Where was my white privilege then? Three years ago I was arrested while walking down my street at midnight.

The arresting officer refused to give me his name and badge number and never told me what I was being charged with.I just shoved me in the back of the cruiser.Where was my white privilege then? I’m sorry so many of you who are darker skinned than me think the world is against you.

Maybe if so many of your people were not murderers, thugs, drug pushers, or whatever things might be better for you.I’ll use snakes as an analogy.I am afraid of snakes.

I know some are poisonous and some are not but when I see one I just assume it is dangerous because I don’t have time to study it.I feel the same about any black person I don’t know.

If I think you pose a threat I will not take the time to study you Julia July 6, 2020 at 4:02 pm
To put it simply for those who still don’t get it- if you are not afraid of being killed by the police when being stopped for some minor driving violation, that’s white privilege! July 7, 2020 at 2:01 pm
Stop lying and deceiving and you won’t have that fear of anything.Karen July 6, 2020 at 3:33 pm
I have never had white privileged and I am white with 1/3 Indian.I born in a tiny town called Taft California. My mother picked cotton for a living.I was her 9th child when she was 25.She met my step dad and had four more kids.We moved town town or wherever the work was for my dad.I am 58 and worked hard to be where I am now.

I have five kids four we adopted they foster care.My husband and I have taught our children no matter what the person skin color is we are the same on the inside.

Our hearts have always been true to that.We had our kids work weekends at the age of 14 so they could learn how to save money, bought them a car but they (the kids) made there own car payments. My kids still pay their own bill apply for grants to go to college and work.i can trace our family history and most my ancestors were maids, water girls, cooks, or fought in the wars.I have watched and read everything I could to learn how to protect my kids.I gave them love, responsibility and how to be yourself.

We talk politics until we don’t.I find it hard to watch our nation now.We are fighting each other during a time when we need to come together as a nation. Our and your children are dying in the streets due to drive by shootings.

Most of us have a son, daughter, mother, brother or husband or wife going thru cancer during this time.It is very scary to know how quickly we as a nation have turned our backs on what is important to us.I agree our statues should be in a museum somewhere and let the folks visit them when they want too.Don’t burn our country some of us have saved all our married lives to open a store or a business.

Out the guns away and share empathy.I do believe our police need to be retrained to learn how to cope with someone being disruptive.Police kill on purpose should be punished the same way any person who kills another person.Bible says a life for a life.

Our kids, your kids are the future of this world. My heart is heavy with a son going thru chemo, a nephew needing a kidney due to diabetic, a friend who lost her husband and our church’s being almost empty.I am at a loss.I tell my kids there is a right way to protest and a wrong way and unfortunately it only takes one person to draw hate to our country.

My heart is with all of you while I hold his hand.Vicki Oré July 6, 2020 at 4:15 pm
That was beautiful and well said, I agree with you one hundred percent! Thank you, there are many of us that have struggled some more than others.

My heart goes out to you cancer is horrible, I have had it and had family members die from it.God bless you and yours in these difficult times.❤️❤️❤️ July 7, 2020 at 6:31 pm
Amen MaryAnn July 6, 2020 at 3:04 pm
What is the end game here? How can this help race relations? One thing stuck out to me.

When I clutch my purse in an elevator it is just a reflex as long ago I was working to feed my kids when two black men entered the store at close and proceeded at gunpoint to duct tape 3 women before demanding everything in the safe.Sometimes bad things happen in life.I don’t mean to do it.I’m sorry if I hurt your feelings you could be the most upstanding member of the community wearing the finest clothes but I can’t see triggers without terror filled dreams for several days.

I’ve been through therapy I can no longer work.I used to be followed through the store while white because I was a teenager and they had problems with kids swiping stuff.I never took anything but it made me mad nonetheless.I get it.

I went to a inner city high school where it was 50% white and 50% all other ethnicities.

Most of us came from working poor homes.

Most of the black kids graduated and went on to college.I did not.I think most of us just want to know what would fix it? Is it reparations? Segregation? Most of us don’t know nor could we sort out how it would even be determined. Most people live based on life experiences. We need solutions not tirades against police and white privilege.Russell from AZ July 6, 2020 at 1:58 pm
How do you know a Jew didn’t suffer from racial bias and religious oppression from ignorant whites as well? They were despised for several decades in America, and still are to this day in the Middle East.

Police in Chicago spend over 80% of their shifts responding to calls in black impoverished neighborhoods to help the community, then get spit at, called names, shot at, and even killed.Working 12 hour shifts for weeks on end, and dealing with lies, deceit, insults, shot at, and we’re supposed to believe cops have no reason for bias? Flip the script: could you do their job? Serve a community that hates you 70+ hours a week? All because said community believes every word from the media as truth? The unfortunate truth is that this bias goes both ways.Sure, there’s racist cops, but there are just as many racist blacks. To think otherwise is foolish.

This racism talk, perpetuated by the media, is sparking anger and hatred while sacrificing common sense and compassion for their fellow man.Let the looters burn and destroy.Their judgment and sentence will come.Let the few bad cops believe they’re above the law. They too will be judged. If violence is their tool to advance their personal agendas, both blacks and whites will meet their death with a violent end.DawnRenee July 6, 2020 at 12:59 pm
Very well said.I too have been accused of the “white privileged” crap.

I come from a family of men and women who fought for our country, and also from Sicily. My ancestors came through Ellis Isle and were slaves when they reached this land.I grew up with divorced parents at the age of four and had to start doing odd jobs just for school clothes. My mother worked two jobs to support myself and sister and I later did the same thing to put myself through college and nursing school.I worked the fields, babysat, did lawns, laundry and other household chores until I was old enough for a job and then I had two jobs all through high school while maintaining a 4.0 average.I shopped yard sales and thrift stores and made old used clothes look new. That’s not white privileged.I am not a Trump supporter.

He had divided this country more than any other president to date.I’m 50 years old and every single thing I own I’ve paid for.Not by welfare or unemployment benefits.Hard earned money.

The whites are now the minority and not the majority.I’m disgusted with how our country is being ran.Jjsvett July 6, 2020 at 12:39 pm
Well let me chime in here. The problems today has nothing to do with race.

If people would obey the law we wouldn’t need police BUT we have parents that turn their children into bad people by no using the belt years ago.As far as slavery goes we believe what we are told as a child I would like to meet one person alive today that was a slave. So you see if you were Brough up being told everyone is against you because you are black you are not a smart person.YES I AN A BLACK MAN Nicholas sparks July 6, 2020 at 12:07 pm
I am 65 years old.i was born in hunk holler tazwell county West Virginia poor. The first eight years of my life I had to walk 50 feet through a clearing then 50 feet into the woods so I could get to the outhouse and take a dump and had to worry about bears rattlesnakes coyotes and a nasty wasp nests always.water in the house consisted of an old hand water pump sticking up in the middle of the floor in the kitchen and 1 outside in the front yard.i am white and fed up with all this crap racism thrown in white peoples faces.privaledged the minute someone is born white?that is the ultimate racist remark I have ever heard.yes we moved up here to Toledo went to a majority black school where I was the minority and beaten many times nothing ever changes.as far as I see it nothing but riots going on and time for Marshall law.up to six innocent black children shot dead by the riots.so all of you rioting are guilty of MURDER.mike July 6, 2020 at 11:56 am
I’ve known Black folks from Africa and The Caribbean areas of this world and they hold no such beliefs in white privileged and they certainly don’t feel inferior to anyone. It appears to me they have not been indoctrinated in the American cult of victim hood.

Black American’s who feel persecuted should make friends with these folks and figure out why they succeed and take a back seat to no one.

Emily C July 6, 2020 at 11:41 am
You write that so well .I thought it was meant for me .

My great grandfather , grandfather , father and me worked for everything we have .I do not begrudge those that are rich , as long as they do not put me down .Everyone in this country has the same rights an ability to be anyone they want , if they work at it .It is not my job or yours to it for anyone else .

Where did all this hate come from , hate does not make anything better ..
